Forty years of letter writing, laughter and the love they share. It’s evident in every glimpse they exchange :: so lovingly devoted to each other, their faith and their community. I was honored to capture the celebration between Max and Michele as they marked forty years of marriage. The evening was a complete surprise to them—and in a small town, that’s not easy to do! 
It was a celebration of life and love in every sense. The evening began with a surprise anniversary mass and renewal of vows in their (breathtaking!) church, surrounded by their family and friends.
I loved how grand and stately their church is, filled with detail and elaborate finishings at every turn. It reminded me of the church my family and I attended when I was very young…so beautiful.

Michele had talked long ago about how she’d always wanted to have lanterns at a party. This was no disappointment! They danced in the gentle breeze and gave off a soft rosy glow to the entire space. Such an awesome sight, combined with the warm embrace of loved ones who honored the occasion with the happy couple.
Max and Michele, it was an honor to be part of your celebration! I hope you feel the warmth and love each day as much as you did on your special evening. Heartfelt wishes for many more happy years together!
