I looove, love, love photographing sessions at Loose Park in Kansas City. The variety of nooks and crannies, the awesome trees to climb, the ducks to feed. Oh, I could go on and on! It’s one of those eternally beautiful spaces, no matter the season — there’s just something about its year round charm that draws me again and again to photograph portraits there. Not to mention the amazing natural light filtering through the gigantic trees!
I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph this lovely family :: a connection from a session last fall at, believe it or not, the same location. 
The Robinsons are the quintesenntial All-American family :: the son loves sports, the daughter dreams in pink, and as a busy, active family, they spend lots of time outdoors together. We had a wonderful, not-quite-too-hot Midwestern summer evening with a little kiss of breeze…
I loved the daughter’s sneaky giggle and beautiful eyes…she absolutely bubbles over with exuberance.
I loved the stories and secrets they share — how they make each other light up.
Moments like this between a daddy and his little girl are absolutely priceless…
