He’s an angel.
A little, 5 pound, 4 ounce angel sent through the gift of adoption to two people who waited, wished, prayed and dreamed that someday he would grace their lives. My heart is bursting for them to have such a beautiful addition to their family—newborns always make me a little tearful at the amazing gift their lives are—and this one is extraordinarily special.
Meet Oliver.
Little man, we are so happy you are here. I am so honored to photograph these precious first moments for you.
So much love, Cathy
Everyone’s thinking fall family portraits–and why not? The colors of fall this year are stunning and it’s the perfect time to photograph your family for upcoming holiday gift giving. If you’re interested in a session, I only have three openings available before the holiday ordering deadline. So be sure to hit the contact tab and get on the schedule before it’s too late!
Aren’t these little cuties totally adorbs?
This little guy makes my heart melty. Mostly because his mom and dad have been friends of ours for several years. I feel like I know firsthand what awesome people they are, and will inspire their little man to be as amazing as they are.
Meet Mason.
How cute are these sweet cheeks? I’m really excited to document this little cherub over the next year.
Oh, the love I have for this little man runs deep and he’s barely a couple of weeks old. And a super easy, laid back baby…he posed so effortlessly and was calm as could be through the whole session (although a full belly and warm blankets didn’t hurt either?).
Meet Will, nine days old ::
I’m loving these sibling portraits ::
Just look at this little cutie! At three weeks old, he was a fun age to photograph — totally aware of his momma’s soft and sweet voice, and so content in her arms. We photographed him in the family’s home, which is where newborns are generally most comfortable among such familiar surroundings. I found myself quickly enamored with his little belly rolls and sweet, chubby cheeks.
Asleep in heavenly peace.
Soft, gentle, and so, so sweet.
One of the family’s favorite things to do together is make music — dad is an amazing guitarist, so it was really special to him to have this portrait. And the blanket is was made just for Trey — it was warm and thick and incredibly soft!
I never tire of seeing how much mommas love on their little ones.
And even better when dad gets in on it, too! A timeless family portrait, in my book. This is how I’d want to remember the early days….
Such a happy, sleepy peanut.
Thanks, Trey and family, for asking me to capture these early days as a family for you!
