Hooray! These gorgeous kelly green and navy flourish wedding invitations were posted at Groom Sold Separately on one of their inspiration boards.
I love this combination together, especially with a little kiss of ivory–so sassy and modern, but so elegant, too! Love!
I love me a beautiful letterform. The way the pen tip delicately kisses paper, only as a true calligrapher can. San Francisco calligrapher and illustrator Leigh Wells’ work is nothing short of amazing – I love, love, love her work. So sublime, so elegant. It’s a look that no font can even touch (although some have tried). How captivating would it be to get an invitation thoughtfully addressed by hand like these? Everything looks more lovely in calligraphy. (And letterpress. Though that’s another post for another day.)
Swoon.
Oh, and for you lovely brides to be out there? Make these for your bridesmaids :: as only Martha can.
The lovely publication from this has arrived!
And guess what :: a sweet (and very unexpected!) surprise ::
Ohmigosh, a back cover placement? I don’t know what I did to deserve it…but it is wonderful and gratifying to see one of my favorite projects in print, not to mention on. the. cover.
Here’s the spread ::
Oh. my. WORD. It’s like the handwriting I never had in grade school. Get it here.
Happy Monday, lovelies! Thought I’d give you a little eye candy of my latest design crush to start off a dreary snowy new week.
I found this illustrator/calligrapher recently while I was blog surfing…and I can’t get her gorgeous style of calligraphy out of my head. Her work is amazing… um, hello?! For real. Check out more of her awesome work here. And here.

Swoon….
Happy Monday!
