It’s an honor to be able to share a bit of exciting news about the design studio…
This spring I was humbled to have a project selected by American Graphic Design and Advertising for inclusion in the 25th anniversary edition of their publication—which is regarded and dog-eared by designers across the country. Past winners have included submissions from Adobe, FedEx, and Unilever to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum—and a jury of the industry’s most notable names reviewed thousands of entries to determine this year’s winners. Books should be hitting the shelf very soon, and I’m thrilled to be included.
Last week I discovered the same identification project is being recognized again, along with a companion piece, in the Graphic Design USA:American Graphic Design Awards for publication in their December 2009 issue. I was privileged to be part of the December 2008 issue for an identification project, but to be awarded for a second year in a row is fantastic. And so humbling to be recognized by peers and colleagues for work that I enjoy doing every single day.
I loved this project, my amazing clients and the ability to create something truly unique for them—giving their new restaurant a visible voice that has shouted octaves above their competition—while nodding to the namesake of the establishment. So, to my wonderful, delightful clients…thank you.
